Motorola has officially unveiled its new mid-range smartphone, the Edge 60 Fusion, designed to cater to users seeking a premium experience at a reasonable price. This device is equipped with several robust features aimed at enhancing durability and user interaction.
One of the standout attributes of the Edge 60 Fusion is its construction, featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and military-grade (MIL-STD 810H) protection. It also boasts both IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring resistance against water and dust.
The phone’s design is equally impressive, using a combination of faux-leather and canvas-inspired materials for a unique finish, accentuated by Pantone-validated colors. In terms of technology, the Edge 60 Fusion is the first Motorola phone to incorporate Moto AI, which streamlines everyday tasks.
The AI facilitates helpful prompts and innovative tools such as Magic Canvas, which allows users to create images from text descriptions, aiding productivity and creativity. Features like “Pay Attention” help transcribe and summarize audio, while “Remember This” captures live moments.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It features a vibrant 6.67-inch pOLED display with Super HD resolution (1220p) and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, the display supports Water Touch technology for seamless use even with wet hands. Photography capabilities include a 50MP primary camera with a Sony sensor, alongside a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The 5200mAh battery supports 68W fast charging, capable of fully charging the device in just eight minutes. The Edge 60 Fusion ships with Android 15 and is promised three OS updates and four years of security improvements.
