OnePlus is set to unveil a smaller variant of the OnePlus 13, known as the OnePlus 13T, later this month in China. This model has caught attention due to its compact size paired with a notable battery life.
According to Louis Lee, the President of OnePlus China, the new device will feature a 6.3-inch display and is designed to challenge the idea that smaller phones cannot have large batteries. The initiative to create the OnePlus 13T stems from a goal to reassure users interested in compact smartphones while addressing concerns about battery capacity.
Lee emphasized that the development aimed to demonstrate that a small form factor could still support substantial battery life. With a potential battery capacity exceeding 6,000mAh, the OnePlus 13T is positioned to defy expectations for miniature devices.
Lee highlighted the advancements made in battery technology, stating that the OnePlus 13T would incorporate next-generation glacier batteries, making it “the small-screen mobile phone with the largest battery capacity and the best battery life in history.” This dedication to battery endurance suggests that OnePlus is not only focusing on size but also on performance.
In addition to its impressive battery, the OnePlus 13T is rumored to include 80W fast charging, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a 50MP main camera sensor. The launch of the OnePlus 13T will mark the first “T-branded” release from the company in three years, with the last being the OnePlus 10T in 2022.
This upcoming model highlights OnePlus’s commitment to innovation in the smartphone market, catering to those who prefer smaller devices without compromising on performance.
