The CMF Buds 2 series has been launched globally, introducing an affordable range of audio products. Alongside the main models, the Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus, the series also features an entry-level option called the Buds 2a. The pricing for the Buds 2 series is set at £39/₹2,699/€49 for the standard Buds 2, £49/₹3,299/€59 for the Buds 2 Plus, and £29/₹2,199/€39 for the Buds 2a. Pre-orders commenced on April 28, with open sales starting on May 6 through Nothing’s website and retail outlets.
This lineup caters to various needs and budgets, ensuring that users can select models tailored to their preferences. The Buds 2 are designed as an everyday companion, featuring Dirac Opteo tuning, 48dB hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and Spatial Audio effects. The Buds 2 Plus enhance these features, offering Hi-Res LDAC, 50dB hybrid ANC, and full EQ customization. The Buds 2a, on the other hand, is a lightweight entry-level option, delivering quality audio with 42dB of ANC and a 12.4mm bio-fibre driver for deep bass.
In terms of battery life, the Buds 2 provide up to 13.5 hours of playback and 55 hours with the case when ANC is turned off. A quick ten-minute charge allows for 7.5 hours of listening. The Buds 2 Plus offer 14 hours on a single charge and an extended 61.5 hours with the case. Both higher-end models are equipped with six HD microphones that feature Environmental Noise Cancellation for clear voice calls.
The Buds 2a offers 8 hours of listening and 35.5 hours with the case. Overall, the CMF Buds 2 series promises to deliver strong audio performance at accessible price points, appealing to a wide range of consumers interested in budget-friendly options.
