CMF by Nothing has recently unveiled the CMF Phone 2 Pro along with a new line of earbuds: Buds 2, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds 2a. Interestingly, there has been no sighting of the standard CMF Phone 2, leaving some questions regarding the brand’s lineup. The CMF Phone 2 Pro distinguishes itself in the budget phone market with a slim design and vibrant color options. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip, features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display capable of reaching 3000 nits brightness, and boasts a robust 5000mAh battery for extended use without frequent recharging.
With a weight of just 185g and a thickness of 7.8mm, it is the lightest phone from the brand to date. The aluminum frame and stainless-steel accents enhance its aesthetic appeal, while an improved IP54 water resistance rating offers better durability. A prominent feature is the phone’s camera configuration, consisting of a 50MP main camera that captures 64% more light, a 20x digital zoom telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. The design deviates from a typical single module by opting for separate lenses, complemented by a dual-tone finish that stands out prominently.
Alongside the phone, the new earbuds cater to various audio preferences and budgets. The Buds 2 offer everyday quality with advanced noise cancellation features. The Buds 2 Plus target audiophiles with high-resolution audio capabilities, while the Buds 2a provide a more budget-friendly option without sacrificing sound performance. Pre-orders for the CMF Phone 2 Pro and accompanying earbuds have begun, with prices set competitively to attract a wider audience.
