Verizon has officially begun the rollout of the Motorola Razr 2025 after a series of delays, much to the delight of its customers. The phone, which is available for $16.66 per month over a period of 36 months, can be ordered directly from Verizon’s website or through the My Verizon app. Additionally, customers can find the device in Verizon stores across the country. This updated foldable smartphone not only comes with competitive pricing, but it also offers some streaming service perks.
Users who opt for a trade-in of their old smartphone can benefit from a three-year price lock on their myPlan and myHome network plans, along with complimentary satellite texting. The trading process is particularly geared towards devices from Google, Motorola, Apple, and Samsung. The Motorola Razr 2025 is available in various colors including Gibraltar Sea, Spring Bud, and Parfait Pink. Despite the excitement surrounding its launch, the device’s arrival faced a delay after missing its original debut date of May 15, with a new schedule announced just recently.
There are speculations regarding the delay, as some users reported heating issues with the Razr 2025. Although no official confirmation has been provided by either Verizon or Motorola, some early orders were reportedly either delayed or returned mid-shipment, causing frustration among customers. However, those who placed orders earlier in the month are now expecting deliveries by May 28. Motorola’s Razr 2025 lineup, which included the base model and a Razr Ultra variant, was initially launched in April.
This base model features a 3.9-inch cover display, a 6.9-inch internal display, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, alongside a 4,500mAh battery with 30W charging capabilities.
