Samsung has partnered with Glance to introduce a cutting-edge shopping experience for Galaxy users. This innovative collaboration combines Glance’s generative AI shopping app with the Galaxy lock screen, allowing users to explore the latest fashion directly from their devices.
The rollout began on June 4 and is available for Galaxy S25, S23, S22, and S24 series smartphones. With Glance’s advanced technology, users can visualize themselves in various outfits and settings, transforming the lock screen into a dynamic browsing platform.
Samsung’s Jason Shim emphasized that this integration aims to provide a smarter, more engaging experience that resonates with the Galaxy Store’s innovative ethos. Utilizing AI from Google’s Gemini and Imagen models, Glance creates customized shopping experiences tailored to individual users.
The software allows users to upload selfies, which the AI uses to generate hyper-realistic images of them dressed in outfits selected from over 400 partnered brands, including Levi’s and Tommy Hilfiger. Users can easily tap on items they like to make purchases, simplifying the shopping process.
The Glance AI shopping app is designed to keep users informed about current trends, local events, and social media highlights. Additionally, the app will notify users of sales, ensuring they never miss an opportunity to snag a desired outfit.
As part of its roadmap, Glance is set to expand its offerings in the beauty, travel, and accessories sectors later this year. This partnership not only heralds a new era of shopping for Galaxy users but also underscores the growing influence of AI in personalizing consumer experiences.
