Amazfit has introduced two innovative health tracking devices: the Balance 2 smartwatch and the Helio Strap. These wearables are designed to enhance your fitness experience, especially when used together. The Balance 2 is priced at $299 and features a 1.5-inch scratch-resistant Sapphire glass display, a 21-day battery life, and support for over 170 workouts.
This includes specialized modes for activities like running, cycling, golf, and diving. For golfers, the Balance 2 provides an extensive in-round experience with more than 40,000 course maps, scoring capabilities, and swing feedback. Additionally, it offers HYROX-Optimized Training, allowing users to plan their intervals and monitor heart rate zones.
The device’s peak brightness of 2,000 nits ensures that it remains visible even under direct sunlight. The monitoring capabilities of the Balance 2 are particularly advanced, tracking metrics such as heart rate, heart rate variability, and blood oxygen levels. The watch is suitable for divers as well, supporting freediving and scuba diving up to 45 meters with an overall water resistance of 100 meters.
A feature called BioCharge Score, which is set to launch soon, aims to help users manage their energy levels throughout the day by analyzing sleep, stress, and exertion. The Helio Strap, on the other hand, is Amazfit’s first screen-free device, available for $99. This comfortable strap supports continuous heart rate monitoring and boasts a battery life of up to 10 days.
It features the BioCharge Score, which is already available. Users can access 27 workout modes through the Zepp app, enabling detailed tracking for various sports, including exclusive HYROX Race mode. For those interested in a comprehensive solution, Amazfit offers a bundle of both devices for $379, enhancing the insights provided on heart rate and recovery analysis without the need for a subscription.
