Solos has introduced two new models of smart glasses—AirGo A5 and V2—aiming to seamlessly integrate AI technology into everyday use. Unveiled at the Smart Glasses Summit in Hong Kong, these models are part of a broader initiative to enhance wearable AI’s practicality. The AirGo A5 offers a sleek design that resembles conventional eyewear while incorporating advanced audio features.
It includes intuitive voice controls activated by the wake word “Hey Solos,” alongside improved sound quality designed to function well even in noisy environments. One of its standout features is directional audio, which ensures private conversations and AI interactions remain discreet. Another exciting option, the AirGo V2, elevates the smart glasses experience with a remarkable 16MP camera that is subtly integrated into the frame.
This model supports live video with electronic image stabilization and low-power Wi-Fi, allowing users to stream directly from the glasses. Whether documenting adventures or conducting live Q&A sessions, the V2 keeps your smartphone conveniently tucked away. Additionally, these glasses feature “SolosChat 3.0,” which combines audio, video, and textual inputs for more comprehensive interactions.
Users can switch between various AI models, including ChatGPT and Gemini, enhancing flexibility and utility. Designed for longevity, both models come with swappable batteries and adjustable nose pads, allowing for personalized comfort. Solos is also set to collaborate with external developers, promising innovative applications in the future.
The AirGo A5 is available for presale at $249 starting this August, while the V2 will launch later in the year at $299. Both models will be sold on the Solos website, marking an exciting advancement in the smart eyewear market.
