Recent leaks regarding the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL have revealed potential specifications for these upcoming devices. It is expected that the Pixel 10 Pro will have a 6.3-inch display, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL may feature a slightly larger 6.8-inch display. Both models are reported to maintain the 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3000 nits found in their predecessors.
The screens, along with the rear glass panels, will be protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Under the hood, the devices are likely to be powered by Google’s Tensor G5 chip, which offers an upgrade from the G4 Tensor found in the Pixel 9 series. They will reportedly come with 16 GB of RAM.
Battery life appears to be impressive, with the Pixel 10 Pro expected to have a 4,870mAh battery, while the Pro XL could feature an even larger 5,200mAh battery, marking a significant increase for a Pixel phone. Additionally, charging speeds may improve as both models will support Qi2 compatibility, allowing for 29W and 39W charging respectively, along with 15W for wireless charging. Camera-wise, the Pixel 10 series is anticipated to keep the same primary specifications as the previous generation.
Both models are expected to utilize a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP telephoto camera, alongside a 42MP front-facing camera. Users may experience enhanced macro photography capabilities due to adjustments in aperture sizes on the ultrawide and telephoto lenses, promising improved image quality. On the storage front, the Pixel 10 Pro will come in options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, whereas the Pro XL will skip the base model and offer 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations.
Color options for the new series are rumored to include Obsidian, Green, Sterling (Grey), and Porcelain (White). It’s important to note that these details are based on leaks, and the official specifications will be confirmed upon release, which is speculated to occur in August, following last year’s timeline.
