A recent Reddit post has surfaced, revealing a potential schedule for the rollout of One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. This information was reportedly extracted from the Samsung Members app. According to the leak, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are anticipated to receive the update starting in April.
This will be followed by the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and other eligible devices in May. The updated schedule indicates a phased rollout, with a one-month gap between each group of devices, concluding in July. However, it is still uncertain if this timeline applies globally or is limited to specific regions.
The One UI 7 rollout has experienced significant complications. The user who shared the schedule explained that the information was obtained through a notification from the Samsung Members app, thanking users for their interest and announcing the upgrade’s availability for Galaxy customers. The initial phase of the rollout will focus on the latest models, with the Galaxy Tab A9 scheduled to receive its update as late as July.
Previously, One UI 7 was set to launch widely, starting in Korea on April 7 and targeting other regions like the U.S. on April 10. However, shortly thereafter, Samsung had to halt the rollout due to a serious bug that affected multiple devices. Firmware distribution was paused, and promotional materials were withdrawn.
Samsung confirmed to Android Central that the rollout schedule was being revised to ensure a better user experience, yet gave no specific reason for the interruption.
