Samsung has announced an “Open Enrollment” period for Galaxy device owners in the U.S., allowing customers who previously declined to purchase Samsung Care Plus a chance to enroll. This initiative provides protection against theft and loss, along with additional benefits, making it a compelling option for those looking to safeguard their devices. The enrollment window runs from May 1 to June 15 and is applicable to specific Galaxy models, including the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6, Tab S10 Plus, and Tab S10 Ultra. Samsung Care Plus customers will have access to “same-day” repairs for cracked screens and glass backs at no additional cost.
The plan also offers unlimited coverage for drops, spills, and mechanical breakdowns, ensuring peace of mind for users. To enroll, customers can visit Samsung’s website or check availability on their devices by navigating to Settings > About Phone > Samsung Care Plus. However, it’s essential to note that not all Galaxy devices are eligible for this program, emphasizing the need for potential enrollees to verify their device’s compatibility. In recent updates, Samsung has significantly enhanced the Care Plus experience, introducing same-day repairs and unlimited battery repair support for customers whose batteries can no longer hold a charge above 79%.
This program adds value, particularly for those who use Galaxy devices extensively. Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, boasts improvements such as a redesigned frame, a vibrant 6.9-inch display, enhanced camera technology, and ample storage options. With a robust 5,000mAh battery and top-tier features, it continues to exemplify Samsung’s commitment to innovation and quality in the smartphone market.
