The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has made waves in the tech community with its latest benchmark leak, revealing some key specifications. According to reports, the tablet recently underwent testing on Geekbench, showcasing the performance of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 Plus SoC. While this flagship chip is expected to be powerful, the S11 Ultra reportedly scored lower in performance tests compared to other smartphones utilizing the same processor. The device achieved a multi-core score of 5,312 and a single-core score of 1,420.
The tablet is also equipped with 12GB of RAM and is expected to run on Android 16, featuring One UI 8. Previous leaks surrounding the Galaxy Tab S11 series indicated some changes, including the return of the base model while eliminating the Plus variant. Additionally, the Ultra model is rumored to include a slightly larger battery. Speculation suggests Samsung may increase the battery capacity to around 11,374mAh, a boost from the standard 8,160mAh found in the previous base model.
The recent leaks regarding the Tab S11 Ultra have also shed light on its chipset, further detailing the Dimensity 9400 Plus. This upgraded version features one Arm Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.73GHz and is complemented by a 12-core Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU, which promises enhanced graphical capabilities and a more immersive Android experience. As for its release date, it is anticipated that Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Tab S11 series following its summer Unpacked event, possibly pushing the actual launch to later in the fall.
