There are numerous reasons to consider the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 as your next Android tablet. As a fan of larger tablets for their eye comfort, I found that the Legion Tab Gen 3 has perfectly bridged the gap between a foldable phone and a laptop, featuring an impressive 8.8-inch 165Hz display. Currently priced around $450, this tablet is a solid choice for anyone looking for flagship capabilities without the bulk of a larger device. One of the standout features of the Legion Tab Gen 3 is its top-notch performance.
Equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it can handle high-end applications and gaming with ease. Although it may not be the absolute latest chip on the market, it offers sufficient power to prevent slowdowns, even during demanding tasks. The tablet features a striking IPS panel that delivers impressive visuals, which is quite surprising for a non-OLED screen. Another highlight of this device is its compact size, which makes it an ideal digital notebook.
Many users appreciate the versatility of having a stylus (compatible with Lenovo’s Tab Pen Plus) for note-taking or sketching on its matte screen. The Legion Tab Gen 3 also excels in gaming and emulation, fitting comfortably in hand while being compatible with mobile controllers. However, there are a few drawbacks to consider, such as the lack of storage options and limited biometrics—only a face unlock feature is available. Despite these shortcomings, the Legion Tab Gen 3 remains one of my favorite tablets due to its performance and current discount, making it a worthwhile investment for both productivity and entertainment.
